Those things in the garden that you can't do without...
Fences and Hedges
image002 (3).jpg

Important for giving privacy.

There are many types of fencing around these days and it's not difficult to find a style of fence that will be both practical and, importantly, look right in your garden.

Or maybe you'd prefer a hedge. There are many different plants that can be used to form a good hedge. Much cheaper than a fence, better for the wildlife and, depending on your choice of planting, may only need a trim once or twice a year.

Water Features

For us, it's the sound of running water that's the attraction.

It doesn't have to be a bold statement in the garden, unless you want it be of course. Even a small pond and pump almost hidden amongst the flowers in the border will give a satisfying background noise of running water.

"I didn't know you had a stream running through your garden"

Patios and Paths

Both practical and, in the case of a path, usually necessary.

A path could be paved, as in the picture above, gravelled, like many National Trust garden paths, or perhaps bark would look better as it winds through the wild area of your garden.
